The Picasso Museum in Paris has a collection of more than 5000 works (but only 297 are exhibited), and several tens of thousands of archival documents.
The museum is splendidly situated in the extraordinary and extravagant Mansion “Hôtel Salé“, dating from the 17th century.
It possesses the most complete collection in the world of this masterful artist and precursor of numerous artistic movements and it allows a journey through time and styles, by admiring his paintings, his sculptures, his engraved and drawn works.

This private guided tour shows you the masterful route of Picasso through some of his greatest masterpieces such as The Death of Casagemas, La Celestina, Woman with a Pillow, Bull’s Head, The barefoot girl, Baboon and Young , the Bathers, studies on The young ladies of Avignon and a lot of others magnificent paintings and sculptures….
You will find out anecdotes about Picassos life and career which were filled with experimentation, with ideological and political commitments.
You will also discover artworks from his personal collection as well as works from his friends as: Cezanne, Degas, Renoir, Rousseau, Braque with whom he founded the Cubism and the advent of the modern art.
Another surprise awaits you during this visit! The discovery of another great artist: “Diego Giacometti” who exclusively has created for the museum a collection of 50 art pieces of furnitures.
